Gonk Films’ first production
The Diary, has been selected for the new edition of Montreal’s
Fantasia Film Festival. The film, directed by Benjamin Lussier, was produced with the participation of Skuad Studios and the National Film Board of Canada.
Marie-Pierre Arthur’s first music video has just been unveiled.
Pourquoi explores the world of dreams and imagination in a mundane urban environment.
Shot on a cold night of March, the video was directed by our friends
David Pierrat and
Olivier Picard at
Parce Que Films. The animation and graphic design was created by Benjamin Lussier at Gonk Films.

Creature’s new music video “
Who’s hot, who’s not” has just been released. Benjamin from Gonk Films was appointed to create the animated disco floor sequence.
The video was directed by Creature’s beloved drummer, Sid Zanforlin and produced by Aviva productions. The visual effects were created by the John Attard and his team at Spica Media.

Mary-Ann Keverian, Gonk Films attended the event which was held at the prestigious
W hotel in downtown Montreal. Glitz and glamour were found in spades during the unveiling of
Miss MAK’s new creations.
Today marked the official launch of
Gonk Films!! After much anticipation, the first Gonk demo is here! After quite a bit of hard work and obstacles, we’re very pleased with the end product and we hope you like it!

We’re happy to announce that one of our favorite bands,
Creature, is nominated in the
Pop album of the year category at the Juno Awards! Creature is up against Alanis Morissette, David Usher, The Midway State et Kreesha Turner.
In other news, Benjamin Lussier from Gonk Films was recently appointed to create the motion graphics for
Creature’s latest music video:

The Juno Awards will be aired on March 29th on CTV.
Gonk recently spent a full weekend shooting material on 35mm film for its upcoming promo reel. Fun was had by all and we can’t wait to be able to showcase the results on this little corner of the Internet.
